The enterprises having Udyog Aadhaar Registration or MSME registration are eligible for the National Small Industries Corporation registration. To obtain registration, the enterprise can submit an application in the NSIC offices – NSIC Delhi, NSIC Hyderabad, NSIC Chennai, NSIC Bangalore, NSIC Kolkata, and other offices or online. After submitting the application, the NSIC department will forward it to the zonal branch or sub-branch nearest to your enterprise for technical inspection.

After receiving the positive inspection report, the registration is granted to your MSME unit.

The NSIC registration charges are based on the turnover of the enterprise, based on the latest financial statements. The following are the registration fees:

  • Less than INR 1 Crores: Micro enterprises are charged INR 3,000 whereas small enterprises are charged INR 5,000.

  • More than INR 1 Crore: Micro enterprises are charged INR 3,000 plus INR 1,500 for every additional crore in the turnover. Small enterprises are charged INR 5,000 plus INR 2,000 for every additional crore in the turnover.

Apart from the registration charges, there are inspection fee and professional fee as well. The inspection charges for Micro enterprises are INR 2,000 and INR 3,000 for small enterprises. And the professional fee for Micro is INR 6,000 and INR 8,000 for small enterprises.
