In a major relief to MSME’s, the Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced a reduction in electricity tariff for MSME’s in the state. Small Enterprises having connected load up to 20 kilowatts(KW), will now be charged at Rs. 4.75 per unit instead of Rs. 6.65 per unit.
These changes will come into effect from May 1, 2018. This move is very beneficial for MSME’s and will enable them to boost productivity. To implement these changes, the Industrial Department will transfer will transfer the difference, directly into the bank account of beneficiary units through DBT(Direct Benefit Transfer).
