National Public Procurement Conclave (NPPC) for MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) will be held in New Delhi from October 30-31, 2018. NPPC is held with the aim to bring buyers and sellers together on the same platform.
NPPC is organised in partnership between Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The aim of NPPC is to provide opportunities to MSMEs to grow their business.
GeM is public procurement platform that facilitates procurement of common use goods and services required by various Government Organizations, PSUs, and Departments. Government e-Marketplace aims to enhance efficiency, transparency, and speed in public procurement. Additionally, it also ensures the objectives of the Digital India initiative are met—paperless, contactless, and cashless transactions.
